I'm just a few pages from being done with Anansi Boys. It read so fast. So that's Iron Kissed and Anansi that I've read this week.
Iron Kissed had a twist I didn't expect. I do enjoy it when authors aren't afraid of having really awful things happen to their main characters. I have always felt that it certainly allows for more interesting stories.
I should read more Neil Gaiman. Anansi Boys and Neverwhere both dealth with characters who's life had been usurped. I wonder if this is a recurring theme for him. I think American Gods should be next on my Gaiman reading list.
After I finish Anansi boys, however, I think I might read the Stephen Baxter novel I have waiting, "Transcendent". Although, I should finish The Templar Legacy, I suppose.
